Hi my darlings!
My name is Fern and I am on an adventure across the world with my boyfriend Fin. We are from a very small town in Cornwall, England. In other words, we are super sheltered and itching to see what’s beyond our beautiful Cornish waters.
In 2019 after just 2 months of knowing each other, hardly any savings or a clue as to what we were doing, myself and Fin decided to up and leave Cornwall and booked a one way flight to New Zealand with working holiday visas. It’s fair to say, two Cornish kids had to learn an awful lot very quickly and not the easiest way, the hard way. With all the highs and all the lows, every single part of it made 2019 the best year ever and only left us curious for more adventure together.
We returned home to Cornwall just days before the world shut down due to Covid. We felt so incredibly lucky to reflect on the amazing year we just had travelling New Zealand and Bali and to have returned home safely back to our families. We both knew travel was not on the cards anytime soon and being back home was something we would have to grow to love again.
During the three years I spent back at home, I got the most exciting opportunity to work at Solve Web Media. I met the best group of human beings and learnt so much that I never ever thought I’d be capable of. On my last day, my friends at Solve presented to me my very own travel blog, they had kindly made for me to document my travels, tips, experiences and I am so excited to share just about everything along the way of our travels across south east Asia and many many more parts of the world in the future.
