I have been to Bali 3 times now and have stayed at a variety of different accommodations. To put this all to good use, I have narrowed down my top 4 affordable places in Uluwatu, Kuta, Canggu and Ubud to stay when you’re travelling on a budget. If you decide to stay at any of these suggested accommodations, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Please keep in mind prices for these accommodations are constantly changing. My TikTok reviews have the prices we paid at the time when staying there however, I have put the prices on this blog for what they are currently charging on booking.com
Telaga Sari Bingin

Telaga Sari is a beautifully peaceful homestay ran by a really friendly group of women. The tranquility of the beautiful pool and spacious sunbathing area, cleanliness, location and affordable price is too good to miss.
It’s location is a 3 minute drive to Bingin beach, a 10 minute drive to a Nimala supermarket in Balangan and a 10 minute drive to the main strip of Uluwatu. There are cafes, shops and also a gym within walking distance.

Mag Canggu Guest House

Mag Canggu is an affordable homestay nestled away from the hustle and bustle yet still in the centre of the beating heart of Canggu.
The comfortable homestay is in a great location and in walking distance to a supermarket , lots and lots of cafes (including the very popular Crate cafe) and all the excitement of Canggu is on your doorstep and easily accessible.
I could not get over the size of our double bed, the rooms are a fantastic size, super clean and very comfortable.

Manggar Indonesia Hotel

I only stayed at Manggar Indonesia Hotel for 1 night however, I found the convenience, incredibly affordable price and free airport shuttle great reasons why I needed to rave to others about this hotel.
If you’re planning on staying in Kuta for a few nights, this hotel isn’t in the centre of Kuta so you would need to have some form of transport each day to get in and out by either Grab or hiring a moped. However, if you’re just looking for somewhere to stay close to the airport before leaving Bali, this place fits the mould perfectly!

Hidden Padma Retreat

Hidden Padma is a beautiful gem on the outskirts of Ubud.
I felt so incredibly relaxed here with such peaceful surroundings. This being a wonderfully maintained garden which included a pond filled with very friendly fish and a beautiful pool and sunbathing area.
